Startup Journey
I’m a People and Tech enthusiast with 10+ years in HR, spanning startups to enterprises. I started Smplhr to solve hiring inefficiencies I’ve seen first, (more of the story is available on my LinkedIn profile) . In May 2024, I joined Hasan VC’s Accelerator, where I met my partner, a Principal at Hasan VC and become Angel Investor. Initially, Smplhr began as a simple talent pool idea, but after validating the need with 50 HR professionals and founders, we uncovered a larger opportunity: helping companies across SEA quickly hire vetted talent and stay compliant. We launched our beta with 1 startup and 2 enterprises, combining AI-powered matching and a manual EOR process. Our platform helps companies find, assess, and hire talent smarter and faster. We’re now seeking pre-seed funding to accelerate product development and go-to-market.
Go-To-Market Plan
For go-to-market, we have a unique strategy that runs in parallel with social media. We’re launching our job platform where candidates can apply once for multiple jobs, create a free profile tools using our template, and tap into viral social media vibes, and invite the candidates to register a virtual career expo. For companies, we’ll launch our hiring platform in Q2, along with exclusive invitations to the virtual career expo, free recruiting tools, and social media driven branding for Smplhr.
Potential Exit
Potential exits include acquisition by HR tech giants, The most likely acquirer would be a company like Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or LinkedIn, aiming to enhance talent acquisition through automation and intelligent talent marketplace.
