ConfirmU helps lenders to credit risk assess new to credit by providing them an alternative credit score based on a 3 minute non invasive psychometric game which uses a patented ML algo coupled with behavioral traits.

Startup Journey

I started this company initially to help land lords scree better potential tenants who did not have bank accounts using AI Chatbot that will measure their ‘Intent to pay’ but quickly found out its not as big problem as financial inclusion and using a language model would not scale in an Emerging market like
India having more than 200 unofficial spoken dialects.

I’ve met my Cofounder Raju in San Francisco as part of a pitching event and got to know he was a Chief Architect at Intuit San Francisco.

We raised our 1st Angels round in 2020 with $450K and started our 1st Pilot in India with Experian as part of a CSR with more than 30,000 women micro entreprenuers using our MVP to be credit risk assessed and we managed to create a lift for the lenders here of 4 points basis.

Go-To-Market Plan

Our Go To Market plan is based on partnership agreements with lenders and new age economy platrforms like (ecommerce, recruitement plaforms of students and door 2 door delivery) who’s their main audience will most likely be new to credit.

Such partnership we’re having is with Visa, a Bank and an ecommerce platform for issuing co branded credit cards to new to credit folks.

Potential Exit

Our exit strategy is based on potential buyers who can come either :
1. Big software companies who are selling solutions to the financial industry
2. Financial instituitions like banks or credit bureaus
